Kountry Kettle in Saratoga Springs

So far I've only had breakfast here and it was really good. They have some if the biggest pancakes I've ever seen. Friendly staff and clean place.

Compliments to The Chef! Our waitress was amazing! We received a Military Discount. We paid by debit card....so when the bill came...I asked where to write the tip...and she informed us not to worry about it because the system doesn't allow that. You can bet we went right down the street to an ATM to tip for their exceptional hospitality. The food is beyond delicious....everything exceeded our expectations and at a wonderful price....we will be going back as much as we can.....I cannot thank the folks at The Kettle enough....see you again soon friends!

We stopped in at this "dive diner" on our way home from a trip. We all had breakfast and each got something different. The portions were large and the price was average. The quality of the food was outstanding. WARNING: even though you can pay with a credit/debit card you can NOT add a tip on. You must tip in cash which sucks for the waitresses. We went down to an ATM after we found this out to get money out.

Came up from South NJ where many diners!!Had to come to NY to Finally find a place to get eggs done the correct way along with the bacon done correctly. I like bacon med he likes well . Always well comes out burnt . This place they cooked everything perfect.

Ok. This place has Amazing Food! The Pastrami is the best I’ve EVER HAD (and I live in LA) It melts in your mouth. Everything on menu is next level, don’t let the unassuming digs throw you off. Nice people too! Do it!

If you drive by you might think it's nothing special but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. I had the pleasure of a wonderful lunch on Sunday afternoon. I had the Ooey Gooey, which is crispy fries topped with smokey BBQ brisket and a few other things that were yummy and topped with fresh cole slaw. Yummmy! My boyfriend had the turkey sandwich and added some coke slaw because he tasted mine and needed to have some. It's not a pretty place but the staff is friendly, attentive and boy is the food good!

Cooked and smoke all their own meats, homemade hash was PHENOMENAL. Definitely be back! Hidden gem!

Breakfast was delicious, especially the home made Hash! Praying for the owners of business’s such as these to open and get to enjoy eggs over easy on a plate vs a take out container 🙏🏻 oh and... they threw in homemade corn bread and syrup... being on the road for the weekend it was an add bonus!

This place is awesome, the people are very nice, and the food is really good. what it lacks is sight makes up im the service and atmosphere. I was passing through from N.C and had to do a 34 hr break and found this place eat there for breakfast and winded up eating there the whole time. Great staff and good BBQ food

Great breakfast hands down! The potato’s are always consistent and they don’t skimp on omelette fillings either! I have yet to go when they serve barbecue but the smell of the smoker going in the morning tells me great things. I’ll be back.

Worst barbecue ever the sauce is nasty and they pile it on so thick to cover up the old stale ribs The macaroni salad was totally disgusting the only thing worth eating was the baked beans and the chocolate chip cookies McDonald's is better than this place

Sumptuous food in a familial environment. Close quarters, and its gets busy, especially during breakfast. Friendly and competent staff. Ample parking out front. After his historic run for NY Governor, Larry Sharpe breakfasted here en route to the Saratoga County Libertarian Party's inaugural convention on June 16th, 2019.

Greatest place for breakfast in Saratoga Springs, in our opinion, behind the Country Corner and Compton's.

The kettle is a great little diner. It may not look like much but they have an amazing breakfast. Don't miss out on a fish fry or BBQ. They are to die for and a great deal.

Stopped here on a whim and I'm glad I did! Not only were the employees extremely friendly,but they also explained alot! They have a range of food. They offered BBQ..but I ordered their fish special on friday. The fish was nice and hot and JUICY! I have never had fish that tasted quite like it. The breading they used was delicious! They also make creme puffs. Not these little puffs...these are big! So thank you again for the excellent customer service and the delicious and prompt food! Definitely Recommend to everybody!!!

Great food and great people . Barbecue is great and first weekend of the month they are open late to serve dinners of barbecue and specials. This man knows how to cook. Maybe not the best ambience but clean and great staff. Try it well worth it.

Excellent breakfast and service

$20.60 for a omelette home fries and a coffee way over priced food was edible but far from good the server was excellent the cooks/owner were working side by side in the kitchen with out masks the head line cook went to the rest room and was in there for 30 seconds he did not wash his hands and I know this because I went in immediately after and turned the hot water on and it was still ice cold they also had ketchup bottles salt and pepper shakers on the table which is against the new regulations due to COVID 19 that states all condiments have to be single serve I will only return because of the excellent service from the server and if I am starving

Love this place! Super Delicious food from breakfast to their own smoked barbeque offerings. Old school atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Waitress is lovely. Highly recommend.

Charged extra $6.00 for sausage patty and $5.00 for tiny slab ham.. This is suppose to come with eggs and fries, but because it was 12:00 instead of eleven we got charged extra, no menus brought, decaf was bottom of pot, and waitress didn't seem to want to care, I guess we were lucky we had silverware..we will not return.
